At Giggles & Wiggles, we believe childhood should be filled with discovery, laughter, and the freedom to grow. Our Newport News center is a welcoming place where children feel safe, cared for, and excited to learn each day.
We care for toddlers through school-age children with hands-on learning, meaningful play, and consistent routines. Our teachers get to know each child, celebrate their milestones, and work closely with families to support their growth—socially, emotionally, and academically.

Ms. Dion
Asst. Director | Owner
Ms. Dion helps guide the daily care and learning at Giggles & Wiggles. She supports our teachers, partners with families, and helps make the center a warm, organized place for every child.
Ms. K'Shera
Program Coordinator & Toddler Lead Teacher
Ms. K’Shera leads our toddler classroom with warmth, patience, and a love for helping little ones learn through play. As Program Coordinator, she also supports our teachers, checks that daily classroom routines are followed, and helps keep learning consistent throughout the center.
Ms. Clark
Preschool Lead Teacher
Ms. Clark guides our preschoolers through daily routines, hands-on activities, and learning through play. She helps children practice new skills, build friendships, and grow more confident as they prepare for their next steps.
Our Programs
A Place to Play, Learn, and Grow
Every child grows at their own pace. At Giggles & Wiggles, we combine caring relationships, familiar routines, and hands-on learning to help children feel secure and excited to explore. We partner with families to celebrate each new skill and milestone.
Toddlers learn by doing! Our teachers make room for movement, music, stories, sensory play, and early friendships. With patient guidance and consistent routines, little ones practice communicating, making choices, and doing more for themselves.
Preschool Program
Our preschoolers build the skills they need for kindergarten through purposeful play and hands-on activities. They explore letters, numbers, colors, and problem-solving while learning to express themselves, work with others, and grow in confidence.
Before & After School Progra m
Before and after the school day, children need a place where they can feel comfortable, connect with friends, and enjoy being kids. Our program offers homework time, creative activities, and opportunities to play and unwind, with caring staff and familiar routines to support them.
Our Curriculum
Learning Through Experience
At Giggles & Wiggles, we use Experience Curriculum to make learning active, creative, and meaningful. Through stories, music, art, exploration, and hands-on activities, children practice new skills while following their natural curiosity.
Our teachers adapt activities to each child’s age and stage of development, helping children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically in a caring classroom.
Child Care Subsidy & Military Assistance
Supporting Families. Making Quality Care More Accessible.
Giggles & Wiggles accepts the Virginia Child Care Subsidy Program and eligible military child care assistance. These programs may help qualifying families cover a portion of their child care costs.
We welcome civilian and military families and are happy to answer questions about enrollment and the information needed to use approved assistance at our center. Contact us to discuss your family’s needs and next steps.
